Home repair & remodeling in the mountains
From a sticking door to a full kitchen remodel, Smoky Mountain Home Repair handles the work that keeps a house in good shape. One call covers handyman fixes, painting, remodeling, and exterior cleaning.
Your Trusted Home Experts
One contact for the whole punch list.
Most homeowners do not want to track down a separate person for the gutters, the paint, the leaking faucet, and the cabinet that never closed right. Smoky Mountain Home Repair brings those jobs under one roof. The same person who patches your drywall can repaint the deck, clear the gutters, and finish the bathroom remodel.
The business also works with second-home owners and seasonal residents who need a trusted hand while they are away, including make-ready preparation that gets a rental property ready for the next guest or tenant.
Pressure Washing Services
Bringing back the clean look your home had when it was new.
Dirt, mildew, and grime collect on every exterior surface over time. Emerson Jenkins handles pressure washing for siding, decks, walkways, and driveways, bringing back the clean look your home had when it was new. Each surface gets the right amount of pressure so the cleaning lifts buildup without damaging the material underneath.
Deck Painting
Protection and color that stand up to another season outdoors.
A deck takes the full force of sun, rain, and foot traffic, and the finish wears down faster than most homeowners expect. We prepare the wood, address worn spots, and apply a coat that protects against weather while restoring the color. Your deck ends up ready for another season of use.
Painting, Interior and Exterior
Clean edges and even coverage, inside and out.
Paint changes a room or a whole house faster than almost any other project. We paint interior walls, exterior surfaces, and trim with attention to clean edges and even coverage. Whether you want a single room refreshed or the full exterior redone, the work holds up and looks finished.
Handyman Services
The small jobs done right the first time.
Some jobs are too small for a full contractor and too involved to ignore. Emerson Jenkins handles punch-list inspection repairs, general home remodeling, “make-ready” preparation for rental turnovers, and everyday fixes like sticking doors. With over 30 years of experience, he knows how to get the small problems solved correctly the first time.
Kitchen Remodeling
Cabinets, tile, and trim set to fit your space.
A kitchen remodel touches nearly every part of the room. We install cabinets, backsplash, tile flooring, and crown molding, and we handle doors, windows, and window shading or blinds. Each piece is set to fit the space and built to last through years of daily cooking and gathering.
Bathroom Remodeling
A room that works the way you need and looks the way you want.
A bathroom update improves both comfort and home value. We handle bathroom remodeling from surface refreshes to larger reworks, fitting fixtures, tile, and finishes into the space you have. The result is a room that works the way you need it to and looks the way you want.
The person doing the work
Run by Emerson Jenkins.
Smoky Mountain Home Repair is run by Emerson Jenkins, who brings more than thirty years of hands-on experience across repair, remodeling, and finish work. That experience shows up in the details: the trim that lines up, the paint edge that stays sharp, the repair that holds.
Emerson is committed to improving the comfort and look of your space, making sure every project reflects his care and craftsmanship. He understands how much trust matters when it comes to home services, and he works to build lasting relationships with his clients through hard work and close attention to detail.
As a one-man operation, Emerson handles every job himself, so the person you talk to is the person doing the work. Your vision is his mission, and together you can bring it to life.
